Here Begins the Novel, 2025 is a performance composed of 24 one-minute micro-performances. This multidisciplinary work integrates sculpture, video, monologue, choreography, and task-based action into vignettes that accumulate into a broader narrative of abstraction and its presumed neutrality, the circulation of Black social dance, childhood reminiscences, and the labor of performativity.
